As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our finance department.


  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records of a portfolio of clients
  • Undertaking daily duties – bookkeeping, payments, issuing of invoices and adhoc requirements
  • Preparation of management accounts, financial statements, VAT returns and compliance
  • Responsible of monthly payroll
  • Liasing with third parties such as banks, auditors, legal etc.

Tax Compliance:

Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax-related documents.
Stay current with changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.

Client Interaction:

Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information. Address client queries and provide financial advice when needed.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations.
Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams to support overall financial objectives.
Collaborate with auditors and other external parties as necessary.


  • A minimum of four years working experience in a similar role. Preference to candidates with BIG4 or CSP experience
  • University degree or ACCA graduate.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications, also Accounting software such as Xero
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Spoken and written Italian (or another language) would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in the corporate services sector in Malta will be consider an asset.
  • Ability to thrive working as part of a team with minimal supervision and a positive approach towards challenges and problem solving.
  • Versed in the principals of corporate governance and company statutory requirements.
